A very well organised person with a professional and flexible approach required for a growing, privately owned, small to medium distribution company.

The post holder will be expected to provide Administrative support to the Directors and Purchasing Department. Other day-to-day responsibilities will include; typing of letters and correspondences, inputting data, working with Excel and our accounting software to maintain purchasing reports, speaking to Customers / Suppliers and other ad-hoc admin.

The position requires a team player with excellent communication skills who is very well organised. You must be able to prioritise your work load, completing tasks within agreed timescales, work well under pressure and always have a positive approach. Be able to anticipate what is needed and take appropriate action. You need to be confident in what you are doing and be able to work on own initiative.

Excellent typing skills are essential, with Excel and Powerpoint skills required.

Main Activities:

60-70% of time will be working within the purchasing department carrying out essential admin support and reporting;

30-40% of your time will be assisting the Managing Directors where needed such as;
